What is a BTTS bet?
Both teams to score. It wins if each side gets at least one goal, whatever the result. A 1-1 and a 4-3 pay identically.
Is BTTS better value than backing a winner?
In matches where you can read the defences but not the result, yes. Arsenal against Chelsea is exactly that. In a mismatch it is worse, because the favourite winning 3-0 is a common way to lose the bet.
